Customer Responsibility for Documents and Information
The customer is responsible for the accuracy of the information and documents provided for import and export purposes.
The customer undertakes to provide the company with complete, accurate, and truthful information regarding the goods, their value, classification, origin, and any other details required for the execution of freight forwarding and customs brokerage services.
The company shall not be responsible for delays, additional charges, penalties, or damages resulting from incorrect, incomplete, or misleading information provided by the customer or on their behalf.
Standards and Compliance with Regulatory Requirements
In cases where regulatory approvals, standards, or legal import requirements are required, responsibility for compliance with applicable laws lies with the importer.
The customer must ensure that the products comply with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements, including those of the Standards Institute of Israel, the Standards Administration, or any other authorized authority.
Where forms or declarations are required for the customs file, the company may forward relevant forms to the customer for completion and signature.
The company does not verify the validity of the product file, its compliance with standards, or compliance with legal requirements, and is not responsible for product approvals or compliance.
The company's role in this context is limited to transmitting the customer's documents and declarations to the authorities as part of the customs clearance file.
Decisions regarding import approvals, regulatory requirements, or the final classification of goods are subject to the discretion of the competent authorities.
Changes in International Surcharges
International freight rates may include various surcharges and additional costs determined by shipping lines, airlines, terminals, authorities, and ports.
These surcharges may change from time to time depending on international market conditions, including changes in fuel prices, port congestion, insurance risks, geopolitical situations, supply chain disruptions, or decisions made by service providers.
In cases where additional surcharges are imposed or charges are updated by these entities after a quotation has been issued, the pricing may be adjusted accordingly.
Services Provided Through Third Parties
Some international freight forwarding services are performed through external service providers, including shipping lines, airlines, terminals, warehouses, overseas agents, and logistics providers.
The company coordinates these services on behalf of the customer but does not directly operate the transportation equipment or operational facilities of these providers.
Therefore, shipping times, arrival times, transportation conditions, and cargo handling may be affected by factors beyond the company's control.
Limitation of Liability
The company's liability regarding international freight forwarding services is subject to the relevant legal provisions and international conventions applicable to sea and air transportation, where applicable.
In any case, the company's liability is limited in accordance with the carrier’s terms of carriage, transport documentation, and the commercial terms agreed between the parties.
The company shall not be liable for indirect damages, loss of profits, or delays resulting from factors beyond its control, including weather conditions, port congestion, strikes, actions of authorities, or force majeure events.
